If you've passed the old Fallon Health offices on Elm Street, they're homes now. Altitude Worcester, a $73 million conversion, turned the 11-story tower into 198 market-rate apartments. Housing Secretary Juana B. Matias spoke at the ribbon-cutting for what's billed as the state's largest office-to-residential conversion.
Next door at 22 Elm, 22 income-restricted condos are priced from $209,300 to $261,650, and Synergy's Dave Greaney said 16 have sold or are being sold. Three more projects are moving through city boards.
- Nov. 9: Zoning Board of Appeals hears Reservoir Point's 255 apartments
- Nov. 18: Planning Board takes up 28 units at 20-22 Goldthwaite Road
- 25 West Chester St.: 40 apartments, rezoning goes to full City Council
- Condo buyers: 80% of area median income, assets up to $155,000
Reservoir Point would put seven buildings across from Coes Pond at 195 Mill St., with 387 parking spaces.
Three proposals would add 323 apartments, led by Reservoir Point
