- ➤ Chester, a 4-year-old Scottish Highland bull, has been on the loose in Uxbridge since August and is frequently seen along Hazel Street as locals share sightings online. - ➤ Saint-Gobain opened its new 47,000-square-foot headquarters building for its abrasives business on Wed, Dec. 3 in Worcester. The 15-month project will soon host 120 employees and support local hiring, officials said. Telegram & Gazette
- ➤ UniBank is celebrating its 1-year anniversary by offering gas at 10 cents per gallon for up to 30 gallons today from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Chop Chop Convenience Gulf Station, 185 Madison St. in Kelley Square - CEO Michael Welch will pump gas as part of the event. Radio Worcester
- ➤ Main Street Bank will see longtime executive VP Ruth Cavanagh retire at the end of 2025 as the Marlborough-based bank adds two new senior vice presidents—Jessica Royce to lead commercial lending and Craig Nardi to manage retail lending. - ➤ Newell Brands announced that Yankee Candle will close about 20 stores in January and lay off 900 workers in December—mostly in administrative roles. Among the closures are 15 local locations, so customers may shop online or at nearby stores until then. Telegram & Gazette
