- ➤ Worcester State University professor Siri Colom is on a three-person team that produced a new 10-episode podcast telling the story of a San Francisco gay church during the AIDS crisis — the podcast uses restored archival recordings to share a narrative of loss and hope. - ➤ On November 6, the state announced a new BioHub at WPI that will receive $5.2 million to fund 24 pilot projects, train over 500 employees, and create more than 3,000 jobs as part of a $16.3 million TechHubs plan. - ➤ The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester has launched a pilot micro-grant program with $10,000 to strengthen its community ties—awarding ten projects from $250 to $1,000 to local partners including the public library and UMass Chan Medical School.
