- ➤ Canines for Disabled Kids empowers children with disabilities through service dogs and scholarships. The organization will host its fifth annual Over the Edge fundraiser on November 15th in Worcester — participants will rappel down Mercantile Building to show trust and courage while supporting independence and inclusion. - ➤ WPI has received a $1M National Science Foundation grant to launch a one-year course that trains workers for hydrogen energy careers—partnering with Western New England University, local community colleges, and industry experts.
