- ➤ Crow Hill is a 64-acre park on Worcester’s East Side where visitors can take a quick autumn hike on over a mile of trails—marked with blue and red blazes—close to the EcoTarium and North High School. - ➤ On Nov 5, around 9 a.m., crews from six nearby towns rushed to Paxton Center School when 33 students on a bus were exposed to carbon monoxide — officials confirmed no student was harmed and said an investigation into a possible braking issue is underway. Telegram & Gazette

- ➤ Worcester State junior Alex Ortiz Colon was awarded the Newman Civic Fellowship by Campus Compact (joining civic leaders from 38 states, Washington D.C. and Mexico) for revitalizing the Political Science Club and mentoring local high school students through Upward Bound. - ➤ WPI researchers flew an experiment aboard a Blue Origin spacecraft on September 18 to test a cooling design that reduced electronics overheating—this flight, including over three minutes of weightlessness, helped move the project toward commercial use. WPI also expanded a partnership with MCPHS to create new degree pathways, joined a network studying the arts’ impact on health, and celebrated a decade of its data science program that addresses the industry's talent needs.
