  • Downtown Worcester hosted the only New England appearance of Punk In The Park on Saturday, Sept 27—eight punk bands including headliners Bad Religion, Pennywise, and Face to Face rocked the Palladium's outdoor venue for over 4,500 fans. The event reconnected the city's punk roots that earned it the 'Wormtown' nickname over 45 years ago.  Telegram & Gazette
  • On Sept. 30, 1926, about 5,000 people gathered on Main St. in Worcester to see Harry Houdini perform his famous copper-casket trick—his final outdoor show before he died a month later.  Telegram & Gazette
