- ➤ Today, WPI announced the appointment of Emily Perlow as vice president for student affairs and dean of students, effective immediately, as she will oversee student services such as housing, dining, athletics, and support programs. - ➤ Massachusetts environmental police warn drivers to be extra cautious during moose breeding season as moose are more active in central and western areas from September to October—state experts estimate there are 1,000 to 1,500 moose and advise watching roadside signs and reducing speed to avoid collisions.
