- ➤ Cowboy Supermarket II opened its second location in Fitchburg at 24 John Fitch Highway in late August with a grand opening on Sept. 4 where Mayor Samantha Squailia cut the ribbon. Co-owners Yomiris Rodriguez Perez and Luis Perez expanded the business from their Waltham location to offer fresh produce from a local farm + international products including a recommended chicharrón dish in the store’s restaurant. - ➤ GreenTech Park, located on former Saint-Gobain campus land in Greendale, is close to signing its first tenant as the Worcester Business Development Corporation said after hosting a manufacturing roundtable on September 9th. - ➤ Quinsigamond Community College reported nearly 9,000 students enrolled for fall—its highest count since 2012—as state programs such as MassEducate and MassReconnect boosted enrollment. Spectrum News 1
- ➤ A second Wachusett Regional School District worker was put on leave for an alleged inappropriate social media post following the shooting of Charlie Kirk (Sept. 12), after a teacher was also placed on leave for a similar reason.
