- ➤ Burncoat High School unearthed a time capsule buried in 2000 (25 years ago) on Aug. 20 as former teachers and students gathered in the cafeteria to view items like a yearbook, art drawings, a TI-Calculator and a class photo along with memorabilia of local events. - ➤ WPI researcher Catherine Whittington received a CAREER Award from the NSF to develop three lab models that study fibrosis in the pancreas, skin, and uterine fibroids.
