  • UMass Chan Medical School PhD student Claire Shamber was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship to fund her work on identifying unknown molecules and exploring treatments for metabolic diseases such as MOCODA— a rare disorder that leads to toxic buildup. She will receive three years of funding over a five-year fellowship period to use innovative mass spectrometry techniques in her research.  UMass Chan Medical School
