- ➤ A Boston University exchange student was severely burned when a fire ignited Everclear at a fraternity event on May 13 and has filed a lawsuit against Worcester Polytechnic Institute & Zeta Psi, alleging that a fraternity member’s negligent use of a flammable liquid caused injuries that will require multiple surgeries and ongoing treatment. - ➤ EcoTarium will celebrate its 200th anniversary on July 19 with free admission and hands-on science and nature exhibits at (222 Harrington Way) in Worcester. Fundraising is underway for an expansion to lower its carbon footprint, and director Katie Chappell will speak at noon as Worcester Mayor Petty and U.S. Sen. Warren are expected to attend.
