  • Nearly one year after Trooper Enrique Delgado-Garcia died following a training exercise on September 12th, his family and local lawmakers are demanding answers as his death certificate still lists the cause as pending. The investigation — which has already cost over $309,000 so far — may interview more than 100 recruits, and new safety measures — including updated training guidelines — are under review.  Telegram & Gazette
  • State Rep. Andres Vargas and state Sen. Edward J. Kennedy proposed bills today to remove the religious exemption for K-12 schools, saying that opting out for religious reasons hides deeper doubts about vaccines.
