- ➤ Cordelia's Farm in Berlin began picking strawberries in May after an early season shift and rainy weekends made family outings difficult — the rain helped the crop thrive. The owner said the small farm will switch to blueberries by the Fourth of July — marking a new phase for local produce that families can enjoy. Spectrum News 1
- ➤ Carlos Garcia, the legendary boxing trainer at the Boys and Girls Club who worked with local kids for over 40 years, said he feels proud of being a mentor, father figure, and friend as he prepares to move back to Puerto Rico at the end of this month. - ➤ On Saturday, June 14, a large crowd gathered at Worcester City Hall Common to protest No Kings Day and oppose a military parade scheduled in Washington, D.C. - ➤ Downtown Worcester will host an expanded Out to Lunch Festival starting June 18—featuring 10 events with an extra hour of fun, local vendors, and live music at noon each week through August 20.
