- ➤ ICE transferred Brazilian mother Rosane Ferreira-De Oliveira from a Rhode Island detention center to a corrections facility in Dover, New Hampshire following her May 8 arrest on Eureka Street in Worcester—her lawyer noted the move was made without explanation. Lemire Fourth of July Road Race is scheduled for Friday, July 4 with an 8 a.m. start at the Tri-Community YMCA on Everett St—this 76th running offers free entry for military, veterans and seniors while other entrants pay $30. Organizers will also honor local runner Kyle Brodeur and expect fair weather similar to last year—attendees can look forward to traditions like finger sandwiches and a DJ emceeing the festivities.
