  • Saint-Gobain announced Monday that its Northborough campus, a 26-acre site undergoing renovations, is now the primary Innovation Hub North America and will serve as the R&D center for 400 employees; the move rebrands five research sites as innovation hubs.  Worcester Business Journal
  • CPAs groups from Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont merged on Monday to form the New England Society of CPAs (14,500 members) led by Massachusetts Society of CPAs President and CEO Zach Donah.   • QCC president Luis Pedraja will retire next year — the board of trustees will begin selecting a firm to lead a national search for his replacement.  Worcester Business Journal
  • Quinsigamond Community College President Luis Pedraja announced his retirement, with the 2026‑2027 academic year as his final term and his tenure ending in July (2027). The board said a search firm will soon be hired to select his successor.  Telegram & Gazette

  • Hurricane season began yesterday, and local residents are urged to prepare an emergency go-bag with essentials (water, nonperishable food, a first-aid kit, and a power bank) to last at least 72 hours.
