- ➤ Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo will perform live at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on June 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Worcester with ticket prices ranging from $65 to $115 as she offers messages of faith and comfort to audience members. Telegram & Gazette
- ➤ Worcester was home to the rickshaw’s invention when blacksmith Albert Tolman designed a man-drawn carriage in 1846 for a missionary. Although no rickshaw service operates now, Tolman’s legacy (he is interred at Worcester Rural Cemetery) shows the city’s surprising role in transit history. Telegram & Gazette

- ➤ Hundreds of dead fish were discovered along the shoreline of University Park pond on May 24, with state officials saying a natural drop in oxygen levels (caused by warmer spring temperatures) likely triggered the die-off.
