- ➤ Governor Healey recently launched the Kick the Drive campaign urging residents to use public transit instead of driving to Gillette Stadium during World Cup matches from June 13 to July 9 — her plan aims to reduce traffic congestion with subsidized fares for daily commutes. - ➤ Nearly 2,000 new residents were added in 2025, pushing Worcester’s population to 213,862 and marking a fifth consecutive year of growth despite a statewide exodus. The U.S. Census Bureau recorded the increase as of July 1, 2025. Telegram & Gazette
