- ➤ UMass Chan Medical School students will host MD CAMP (Community, Access, Mentorship and Purpose), a free two-week summer camp for Worcester public high schoolers interested in medicine from July 6 to 17. The program will offer lectures, simulations, and physician shadowing to help students learn about medical careers. UMass Chan Medical School
- ➤ WPI will host two commencement ceremonies for its Class of 2026 at the DCU Center (50 Foster Street) in Worcester on May 14 and May 15; the graduate event at 5:00 p.m. will feature Lisa Barton and the undergraduate event at 2:00 p.m. will feature will.i.am. Worcester Polytechnic Institute
- ➤ Local teachers Paul + Emily Sawyer will graduate today from Worcester State University with master’s degrees in education. They balanced full-time teaching in Worcester and Douglas while earning their degrees part-time and plan to use their credentials to step into leadership roles in their schools. - ➤ Nichols College and the Worcester Business Journal are accepting applications for the second Women’s Executive Academy after the first class graduated on Friday. Applicants can join the eight‑month, $2,500 program led by local female executives with sessions held on the second Friday of each month starting in October. Worcester Business Journal

- ➤ On Friday the Defense Department released its first batch of UFO files, prompting Radio Worcester's expert Ronny LeBlanc to discuss unresolved sightings including Apollo astronaut accounts and theories about interdimensional phenomena.
