A new Sunday farmers market will launch May 18 behind the old Rotman’s building on the West Side and will offer fresh produce, local meats, food trucks, and live music through October.

Local businesses including Courthouse Brewing and Mrs. Moriconi’s Ice Cream will open their doors during market hours (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) to support local farmers (and foster community connections).

The Clara Barton Birthplace Museum opens for summer on the last Friday in May and sits on Clara Barton Road in North Oxford — it is a place where visitors can learn about the founder of the American Red Cross.
