Good morning, Worcester.

Iggy Suarez, now acting manager of the WooSox, led his team to a 6-2 win over the Syracuse Mets at Polar Park on Sunday as he took over following a shakeup in the coaching staff.

He said he felt challenged by the quick turnaround and new responsibility.

After firing Alex Cora and five coaches Saturday, the Red Sox are reviewing the bench coach role as interim manager Chad Tracy works with club officials to adapt the coaching staff, including adding Triple-A Worcester hitting coach Collin Hetzler to the roster (details to be finalized soon).
