- ➤ Ashburnham resident and Oakmont Regional High School senior Travis Teixeira died after a March 21 car crash when his vehicle left Rte. 2 and landed on Nashua Street in Leominster, and his funeral is set for Saturday, March 28 at the Wright-Roy Funeral Home. Telegram & Gazette

- ➤ Indian grocery chain Apna Bazar Farmers Market will open in June at the former Stop & Shop on Route 9 in Shrewsbury, offering Indian, Southeast Asian, and Latin American groceries alongside standard fare. - ➤ Worcester Public Schools hosted their first forum on March 23 at South High to explain a school realignment, with more community meetings scheduled in April and May to gather feedback ahead of a November vote. - ➤ WPI has named Jeffrey Bardzell as the new Peterson Family Dean of Arts and Sciences, effective May 26.
