- ➤ Dr. Matilde Castiel submitted a report to the Worcester City Council showing that homelessness has risen among older adults and young people in 2024 as high rents and low incomes have made it hard to keep a home. The data shows that numbers for those aged 55–64, 65+, and 18–24 increased from 2023 and calls for more affordable housing and coordinated community help. MassLive
