Good morning, Worcester.
🎭 Culture
A study by WalletHub placed Worcester in the top five for St. Patrick's Day because it has strong traditions and lower costs and better weather than Boston—Boston earned first place due to its big parade and many Irish pubs.
The study looked at 15 things such as parades, food, safety and weather to compare each city.
🏛️ Government
Paul B. Saucier was sworn in as Worcester police chief on Friday at City Hall after serving as interim chief since September 1, 2023—he was a deputy chief before that.
