  • The UMass women’s basketball team won 73-55 on Saturday, March 7 at Mullins Center with seniors Allie Palmieri scoring 19 points and Megan Olbrys adding 17 against Buffalo. They will travel to Cleveland for the MAC Championships starting Wednesday, March 11.  MassLive
  • At the New England Wrestling Championships held Saturday at Providence Career and Technical Academy, high school wrestlers from the Catholic, Bay State, and Western Mass conferences advanced; St. John’s Prep’s James Lally (144) and Sam Josey (190) reached the semifinals.
