- ➤ The Worcester Art Museum displays a nearly 100-year-old global arms and armor collection that spans ancient Egypt to 19th-century Japan, featuring artifacts for all ages (including a Mandalorian helmet). EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Medical students Justin Nguyen and Cedrick Chiu from UMass Chan have matched early into urology residency programs; Nguyen will train at University of California Davis and Chiu will start at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (match success precedes the March 20 general match). - ➤ Data shows that 10 county school districts achieved over 80% higher education enrollment, with the Massachusetts Academy for Math and Science at 94% and Hopedale, Sutton and Shrewsbury following. In contrast, Worcester’s district had only 49% enrollment (from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education), compared to the county average of 64%. MassLive
