- ➤ The Shrewsbury School Committee is finalizing its search for a new superintendent to replace Joseph Sawyer, retiring at the end of June. Four candidates will visit schools next week and community feedback will be accepted online; a decision is expected by March 18 with the new leader starting July 1. MassLive

- ➤ Worcester appointed Seema Dixit as the new health and human services commissioner (effective today, Feb. 17) after 25 years in public health leadership including service at the Rhode Island Department of Health. MassLive
