About this event
We cordially invite you to our upcoming concert on November 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., featuring a repertoire that captures the American spirit, ranging from Mary McDonald’s arrangement of “He’s Got the Whole World” to Gwyneth Walker’s “I Lift My Lamp.”
Cellist Joe Cracolici will join the ensemble for a performance of Elaine Hagenberg’s “Refuge,” set to the poetry of Sara Teasdale, illustrating the transformative power of creative expression. We will also present a modern interpretation of the 1882 hymn “O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go,,” by George Matheson, which explores themes of unconditional love and perseverance.
These selections are curated to inspire and provide a message of hope amidst dissonance.
Furthermore, pianist Matt Jaskot will duet with Mr. Cracolici for Margaret Bonds’ “Troubled Waters,” a poignant instrumental work reflecting themes of resilience and faith.
As our chorus enters its third season, we look forward to celebrating our shared gratitude for our veterans, our community, and our nation. We hope you will join us for this meaningful performance.
