About this event

Horse Meadows Knoll rises above Horse Meadows Reservoir, which is now a beautiful, naturalized pond. Beavers are active at the pond and great blue herons nest in the treetops above the pond. Join naturalist Roland "Boot" Boutwell for an informative nature walk focused on plant identification as well as fun and interesting natural history about the plants we see. Will any plants still be in flower or in fruit? We’ll see! We’ll also work at identifying some woody plants (trees & shrubs) without their leaves. The program will include a reading or two, and a few seasonal or topical poems.

Parking at: 45 Sherry Road, Harvard, MA.

Attendees are asked to read and sign the participation waiver form.
