Calling all trail volunteers.

November 21st

We are having a trail work day in Thompson CT to work on clearing out some trails and working on opening up a new one. If we have enough people, we will break out into two groups at two different locations.

We are starting at Fort Hill Farms, meeting at 157 O’Leary Road, Thompson CT to work on an area that needs brushing back and some old wire fencing removed.

Second location would be off of Baker Road in Thompson CT and that would be to open up a section of trail in the woods instead of using the edge of the cornfield.

Hand saws and loppers would be good items to bring. If you have a chainsaw and know how to use it, bring it with you. Please bring your gloves and wear sturdy shoes.

Check in time 8:30, starting work at 9:00

Lunch provided for volunteers after we are done working.
