The City of Worcester announced $4.4 million in Community Preservation Act awards to 18 projects that will improve open space, historic sites and affordable housing. Voters approved a 1.5 percent property tax surcharge in 2022, and selected projects include upgrades at Great Brook Valley Park and renovations at the Fatty Jenkins Cage Basketball Court.

Worcester nurses are enrolling in online Master of Science in Nursing programs to become Family Nurse Practitioners โ€” the flexible study plans let them work full time and complete local clinical placements without moving.
